Put 60% salpeter (NaNO3) and 40% sugar in a pan. Melt it at low-medium heat and stir all the time. When the sugar starts to caramelize add a teaspoon of bakingsoda. Keep stiring until it looks like peanutbutter, then put it in a cardtube. Wrap the cardtube in aluminumfoil. Before it starts to harden put a pen in the middle of the mix.When its almost hardened remove the pen and put a fuse in the hole. Wrap it with duct tape. Now youre done! I made a small foundry for melting metal. Its made from an old steel milk box, a large tin can, a cast iron pot, a paint can lid, a few plumbing pipes, and a hair dryer (heating coil removed). Foundry is powered by wood and charcoal. It can melt lead, aluminum, and sometimes copper depending on how much fuel is put in it. It is also powered by oil, but that makes a lot of smoke so I don't usually use oil, though I literally have hundreds of gallons of the stuff at my disposal.
A very easy squash that can be served with any meal. You can also use the squash for soup. 1 butternut squash, cut in half, lengthwise 2 tsp. butter 2 tsp. brown sugar Salt & Pepper Cut the squash in half, lengthwise and place on a baking pan. Salt and pepper each half of the squash. Place 1 tsp. butter on each half of the squash, followed by a tsp. of the brown sugar, sprinkled all over the squash. Place in a preheated 400° oven for 25-40 minutes, depending on the size of your squash. A knife should go through the squash easily when it is done. Serve and enjoy.
